It’s raining it’s pouring

It definitely is pouring but, I am not snoring yet just reading.

A good excuse to get a pile of books and just dig in

Searching for be rainy day reads and being the strange duck that I am (or some might think I am ) I can’t just list classics like; Thoreau, Walden – nature books but we need something that stretches the rainy theme to.. well I grabbed a few books to flip through based on thinking about wet titles.

Moby Duck The true story of 28,800 Bath Toys Lost at Sea and of the Beachcombers, Oceanographers, Environmentalists, and Fools, Including the Author, Who Went in Search of Them   By Donovan Hohn

Finding Flow The Psychology of Engagement with Everyday Life                               By Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

Walk on Water by Lorian Hemingway

The Dive A Story of Love and Obsession By Pipin Ferraras

Slow Death By Rubber Duck How the Toxic Chemistry of Everyday Life Affects Our Health  By Rick Smith and Bruce Lourie

I might have to write separately about my feeling about the uber long title where the author’s every descriptor makes it into the title but, I digress.

back to reading on a rainy day
